Marc comes from Cardiff and is a Welsh speaker. Educated at Ysgol Gyfun Rhydfelen then at Cambridge and Bristol Universities, he made his first short film, JOHNNY BE GOOD in 1984.

His feature film credits include HOUSE OF AMERICA which premiered at The Sundance Film Festival, followed swiftly by the controversial RESURRECTION MAN released in 1998. 2002 saw much critical acclaim for his digital horror film MY LITTLE EYE which was followed by TRAUMA starring Colin Firth and Mena Suvari. Then SNOW CAKE starring Alan Rickman, Sigourney Weaver and Carrie-Anne Moss which opened the 2006 Berlin Film Festival.

His numerous television credits include COLLISION and HINTERLAND.
