Efthimis Filippou


Efthimis Filippou is a Greek screenwriter, playwright and author.

Together with Yorgos Lanthimos, he wrote DOGTOOTH, ALPS and THE LOBSTER.

He was the winner of the Golden Osella award for Best Screenplay at the 68th Venice International Film Festival in 2011, which he shared with Yorgos Lanthimos. THE LOBSTER has been nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

Efthimis’s latest feature film, THE KILLING OF A SACRED DEER, co-written with Yorgos Lanthimos, is currently in post.
