Yorgos Lanthimos


Yorgos is a Greek filmmaker, now living in London.  His second feature, DOGTOOTH, has become a cult classic.  Amongst other awards it was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language film and won Un Certain Regard in Cannes.  His third film, ALPS, won Best Screenplay in Venice in 2011 and was released in the UK by Artificial Eye in November 2012.

His first English Language Film, THE LOBSTER, was nominated for the Palme D’Or and won the Jury Prize at Cannes 2015.

Yorgos is currently in post on his latest feature, THE KILLING OF A SACRED DEER.
