Angela Pell


Angela Pell has been writing for film and television for over ten years. Her first feature was the film Snow Cake starring Sigourney Weaver and Alan Rickman set in Canada. It opened the 2006 Berlin Film Festival and won several awards. She wrote Gifted – a Sky Playhouse starring Rhys Ifans. It is the only Sky Playhouse which Sky have put up for a Bafta nomination. She has several adaptations under her belt – including dramas/ comedies and musicals. This year she co-wrote the autobiographical journey A Normal Family (published by Two Roads) with her husband Henry Normal – about their life bringing up their autistic son Johnny.
