Josephine Starte


Josephine studied English at Cambridge. She then trained as an actor at the National Institute of Dramatic Art, Sydney. After winning awards for her spoken word, she was commissioned by Kate Champion and NIDA to write the play Not Who I Was.

As a writer and actor she loves long-form improvisation, comedy and poetic text. Her work on Samuel Beckett and dance is published by the Journal of Beckett Studies.

She is currently developing a play and several scripts for television.
