Eddie Sternberg




Eddie has been making movies from an early age. He continued throughout university where he studied Film, Scriptwriting and Photography. In 2011, along with filmmaker Adam Baroukh, he co-founded Superplex Pictures as a platform for their work. He has since written and directed corporate films for some of the worlds biggest brands including Google, Canon, Lenovo, O2, Channel 4, Nescafe, Wella, Pepsi, and John Lewis .

His TFL funded short film OUT OF BODY premiered at The London Short Film Festival to an incredible response. The film was nominated at Emden-Norderney for the Engelke Award, shown at film festivals around the world and since been seen by over 20,000 people at TFL events.

His short film I USED TO BE FAMOUS was funded by Film London and the BFI where he was given the majority of the budget on the London Calling scheme; Southern Exposure. The film will be released later this year.

Eddie was recently shortlisted for the Kevin Spacey Foundation’s Artists of Choice.  He has made music videos/promos for musicians such as Bobby Tank, Little Boots and highly acclaimed producer Roy Kerr (London Grammar, Ladyhawke). He was also the executive producer on the upcoming short film JUST DESSERTS starring Alex McQueen and David Schaal.

Eddie is currently writing the expanded feature version of I USED TO BE FAMOUS. He is also currently developing further feature projects, THE FUTURISTS and SCARY MARY.
