BIFA 2019 Nominations

Mark Jenkin’s BAIT, Chris King’s MARADONA, Fyzal Boulifa’s LYNN + LUCY , Jeanie Finlay’s SEAHORSE, Fateme Ahmadi’s COUP 53 and Chanya Button’s VITA AND VIRGINIA have all received BIFA 2019 nominations.

Mark Jenkin’s BAIT has been nominated for Best Director, Best British Independent Film, Best Editing and Breakthrough Producer.

Edited by Chris King MARADONA has received nominations for Best Editing, Best Documentary, Best Music, Best Sound and Best Director.

Fyzal Boulifa has been nominated in the Debut Director category for LYNN + LUCY. Actor Roxanne Scrimshaw has been nominated for Promising Newcomer.

Jeanie Finlay’s SEAHORSE has been nominated for Best Documentary.

Associate produced by Fateme Ahmadi COUP 53 has been nominated for Best Documentary.

Directed by Chanya Button VITA & VIRGINIA’s Elizabeth Debicki has been nominated for best supporting actress.
