WORK BEGINS ON STEELTOWN MURDERS

Cardiff-based prodco Severn Screen has started work on Welsh crime drama STEELTOWN MURDERS (w/t). Directed by Mark Evans, the series follows the hunt to catch the killer of three young women in Port Talbot, Wales.
Set in the 1970s and the 2000s, it reveals how the mystery was solved thirty years after the crimes took place using pioneering DNA evidence.
STEELTOWN MURDERS (w/t) is written by Ed Whitmore and exec produced by Ed Talfan, Jon Hill and Ed Whitmore. The series was commissioned by BBC commissioning editor Rebecca Ferguson and head of commissioning for BBC Wales Nick Andrew. Starring Philip Glenister and Steffan Rhodri.
