Daisy is a British Ghanaian writer from London. A versatile and prolific writer working in both the UK and US, she is a currently adapting a novel for ITV, and writing a pilot for ABC Signature, with Bryce Dallas Howard attached to direct. She is also adapting a memoir for Lionsgate alongside Oscar nominated writer and director Darius Marder. She is developing multiple projects with production companies including Gaumont, Urban Myth and Fifth Season.

A former broadcast Hotshot, Daisy’s credits include RAISING KANAN (Starz), Soo Hugh’s hotly anticipated follow up to PACHINKO, THE WHITE DARKNESS (Apple TV+), a new adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro’s Nobel prize winning novel, NEVER LET ME GO (FX), and VALHALLA (Netflix).

Other series work includes BULLETPROOF (Sky), BRITANNIA (Sky), SHAKESPEARE & HATHAWAY (BBC), and HOLLYOAKS (Channel 4).

In addition to her writing, Daisy is also an accomplished singer and worked as an acclaimed recording artist/songwriter in the music industry for nearly two decades, most significantly as lead singer for Morcheeba, who have sold over six million albums worldwide. Daisy was named in Sonya Boyce’s Devotional installation at the National Portrait Gallery as one of the UK’s most significant British female singers from the African Diaspora.
