Milad Alami

Milad was born in Iran. He grew up in Sweden and currently lives in Denmark. His debut feature, THE CHARMER, was nominated for numerous international awards and won best film and best screenplay at FEST International Film Festival 2018.

Amongst other TV directing in Scandinavia, he recently directed two episodes of WHEN THE DUST SETTLES, a TV drama exploring the lives of different people before and after a terrorist attack in Copenhagen. 

In May 2023, OPPONENT which he wrote and directed was released to critical acclaim collecting 12 nominations and 8 award wins globally.

He is a co-creator of BULLSHIT. a Denmark mini-series currently in post-production.
