Naomi Cooper

Naomi Cooper is a writer, comedian, and actor, based in London. She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Acting from Bretton Hall, and has been writing and performing stand-up comedy for many years. She is a Funny Women Awards Finalist, and has gigged extensively across the UK, Europe, the UAE, and the US.

She supported Jeff Garlin (Curb Your Enthusiasm) for the duration of his extended sold-out Soho Theatre run in December 2017. She has also opened for Jeff at the Laugh Factory and the Hollywood Improv in Los Angeles. She is also an accomplished improviser, and was the first female finalist of Edinburgh Fringe’s Improvaganza, and a founding company member of Leicester Square Theatre’s Improbabble.

Naomi writes across comedy and comedy-drama. Her comedy TV pilot, HOODWINK, is in development with Channel X. Her sitcom pilot PHILIPPA, centred around her viral online character, was optioned by Goat Films, with development investment from Such Content. She is currently developing PHILIPPA as a one-woman stage show.
