Sue Bourne

Sue is a famed observational director and producer with an intense commitment to her subjects. She has won numerous awards and was featured in Broadcast Magazine's Top 12 directors.

Her documentary films include the award winning JIG, telling the story of the 40th Irish Dancing World Championships and THE AGE OF LONELINESS, which focusses on social isolation that people from all age and classes suffer from.

She also executive produced the harrowing documentary FALLING MAN which tells the story of the people who jumped to their deaths from the twin towers which was nominated for an international Emmy, BAFTA, RTS and Broadcast Award.

Her most recent endeavour was executively producing the award-winning CLEAN in 2022 a short, personal female centred documentary focused on addiction and long-term recovery from it.
