3 FILMS AT CANNES 2024

The Cannes Film Festival has just announced its selection of films.  We’re delighted that films by three of our clients have been selected:

Yorgos Lanthimos’ upcoming film, KINDS OF KINDNESS will screen in the main competition.  It stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons and Willem Dafoe. Produced by Element and Film 4.

Andrea Arnold’s new feature, BIRD will also screen in the main competition, starring Barry Keoghan and Franz Rogowski.  Produced by House Productions.

Rungano Nyoni’s film, HOW I BECAME A GUINEA FOWL has been selected to screen in Un Certain Regard.  Produced by Element.

At this year’s Festival, Andrea Arnold will receive the honorary Carrosse d’Or (Golden Carriage) award for lifetime achievements in directing.  Andrea is the first UK director to receive the award.  Previous awardees include Kelly Reichardt, John Carpenter, Martin Scorsese, Jane Campion and Agnès Varda.
