News has broken of Joe and Soleta Rogan’s planned expansion into genres and the establishment of an international office for Rogan Productions.

Speaking to Broadcast, co-founder and managing director Soleta Rogan was coy about sharing details of both moves, but confirmed that plans were afoot. The Defiance: Fighting the Far Right indie is “definitely exploring” the scripted and formats space, having built its reputation on single films and limited doc series, she said.

Rogan, who set up the indie with her husband and creative director James in 2013, also teased a possible international expansion to join the production company’s bases in London and Glasgow.

The latest release from Rogan’s Scottish office is the two-part BBC2 profile on Saudi Arabian leader Mohammed bin Salman, THE KINGDOM: THE WORLD’S MOST POWERFUL PRINCE of which the first partairs this Monday 19^th at 9pm on BBC 2.
