The new season of British staple crime series SILENT WITNESS, with episodes written by Timothy Prager, has kicked off BBC's 2024 prime-time TV. The first episode premiered last night to a great critical response. 

Emilia Fox and David Caves return as Jack Hodgson and Dr. Nikki Alexandra as they solve heinous crimes. The first case of the 27th season sees Four Weddings and a Funeral's BAFTA nominee John Hannah guest star as retired pathologist Dr. Charles Bec. Episodes 1 & 2 are available now on BBC iPlayer.

Next week the first two-parter, written by Timothy Prager, a long-running writer on the show since 2008, will hit TV screens. He returns with "Grievance Culture" which sees the team investigate a murder on the shore of the Thames. Tune into the first of Tim's episodes on the 15th of January on BBC1 or iPlayer.
