The Lion in Love

THE LION IN LOVE is a play about a family containing within itself many of the problems and difficulties of youth, middle age and old age. Each generation believes that it knows what it wants --but when this comes along, each has difficulty in recognising it, or refuses to acknowledge it. The waywardness of THE LION IN LOVE is the waywardness of life itself.

First produced at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry, and later at the Royal Court Theatre, London.
