HARRY LIGHTON'S DEBUT FEATURE PILLION PREMIERES AT CANNES

Harry Lighton's debut feature film PILLION has had its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. Submitted in the Un Certain Regard section, Harry Lighton won the prize for Best Screenplay.
Based on Adam Mars-Jones' 2020 novel Box Hill, PILLION stars Alexander Skarsgard and Harry Melling as biker gang leader and young gay man who enter into a BDSM relationship.
The Guardian awarded the film 4 stars writing: 'Harry Lighton ... has created something funny and touching and alarming ... It’s basically what Fifty Shades of Grey should have been.'
PILLION is produced by Element Pictures, BBC Film and the BFI and is set to be distributed by Picturehouse Entertainment in the UK. A24 have acquired rights to distribute in the US.
